BELMONTE Tinto
|
Country: | Spain | Region: | Castilla La Mancha | Appellation: | La Mancha | Colour: | Red | Content: | 100 cl | Grapes: | 100 % Cencibel
| Alcohol degree: | 11 % | Serve at: | 14 à 16°C | Serve with: | BBQ, red or white meat without strong sauces, avoid spicy food | Description: | A well balanced, smooth red wine of the Cencibel variety from the Spanish winemakers’ village of BELMONTE situated in the wide plains of La Mancha. The average altitude of the vineyards is 700 metres. BELMONTE is situated at 790 metres above sea level. Because of the long and often bone-dry summers, the ground is unfruitful. The yield in this region is very small compared to the French criterions. This is of course very beneficial to the quality. There are no rich, noble castles in this region, but a lot of small wine bodegas that produce very fruity summer wines. This BELMONTE is an easy drinkable wine for every day. It is made of the Cencibel grape.
