This cru, situated on the plateau of Marsac in the Margaux appellation, has been famous for a very long time in Bordeaux. Medium garnet colour with a slightly orangey rim, a sign of ageing. Fine and elegant wine with a bouquet revealing subtle aromas of small black berries, griotte, toasted almond, notes of spices, leather and game. In the mouth we find the same elegance as on the nose, roundness, fine tannins and aromas of very ripe black fruits, mocha and game.
