It is a blend of rums from Dominica, Venezuela and Panama, aged for 5 years in the Caribbean in bourbon oak then a further 3 years in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain, in Romate’s used Amontillado and Oloroso Sherry butts.
In the mouth we find vanilla, coffee and hazelnut. This rum is elegant, extremely fine, nutty around a creamy centre with fresh bright rim in mouth. |
